6:30-8:00 pm: Public Tasting and Silent Auction

You may purchase any number of $10 tickets at the door. Each ticket entitles you to ten tastings of dessert samples.   Use the ballot attached to the ticket to vote for your favorite dessert in the People’s Choice, Amateur and Professional categories.

Raffle tickets and beverages will be available for a small donation.  You can also buy Chocolate Festival T-shirts, sweatshirts, aprons, and a Chocolate Festival cookbook that features recipes from previous years’ entries.

Auctions and other ways to participate

Professional and prize winning desserts will be available for bidding during the live auction.  Make sure to taste these treats before the People’s Choice voting ends.  If you would like to bid on items in the silent and/or live auction be sure to register and receive a bid number at the bid registration table.

The silent auction takes place during the public tasting.  Other desserts and non dessert items will be available for bidding.

Don’t forget the goody bag table.  Take home a lovely bag of tasty treats (made specifically by our talented volunteers) for your loved ones to enjoy at home!

7:45 pm: Voting for People’s Choice closes 

8:15 pm: Awards

Award winners (including People’s Choice) will be announced and their creators presented with plaques and/or prizes donated by local businesses. Initial phase of the silent auction closes.  Silent auction bidding will continue in the auction pick-up area for approximately 30 minutes after the announcement of the award winners.  Results of the silent auction bidding will be posted approximately 30 minutes after the silent auction ends.

8:45 pm: Live Auction begins

9:45 pm: Auction winds down. People leave the festival happy.
